Budhdhage Valhu is an ancient vevu (a public bathing tank/well) used during the Buddhist era before Maldives embraced islam in 12th century AD.

The project to revive this ancient heritage began on 18th January 2023 by Mundoo Council with the funding supported through the Re-imagining tourism project by UNDP Maldives.
