A heritage awareness session on Gan Haiytheli was conducted for students of L. Maamendhoo School during their educational field visit to Laamu Gan.

The session introduced students to Haiytheli, an important archaeological site dating to the pre-Islamic period of Maldivian history. Students were provided with information on the site's historical significance, archaeological features, and its importance as part of the Maldives’ cultural heritage. The session also emphasized the importance of preserving and protecting heritage sites so that future generations can continue to learn from and appreciate the nation’s rich history.
