The Maldives Heritage Society conducted an information session for members and staff of the Shaviyani Atoll Council on the Society’s activities and the historical heritage sites of Laamu Gan.

During the session, participants were introduced to the Society’s ongoing heritage conservation and promotion initiatives, as well as the historical significance of key archaeological and cultural heritage sites located in Laamu Gan.

The session provided an opportunity to share experiences and strengthen awareness of heritage preservation efforts, highlighting the importance of protecting and promoting the Maldives’ rich cultural heritage for future generations.
