Community Clean-Up Conducted at Pareefenganda to Mark World Environment Day
In observance of this year’s World Environment Day theme, “Beat Plastic Pollution,” a clean-up campaign was conducted at the Pareefengandu (Bodafengandu) natural heritage area in Laamu Gan.
The activity was successfully completed through the strong support and participation of community members and volunteers. The Maldives Heritage Society and Outreef Sports Club extend sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the initiative.
Protecting the Maldives’ natural heritage is essential to preserving its culture, history, and environment. The Society encourages continued community efforts to reduce plastic pollution and safeguard the nation’s valuable natural heritage sites.
