A meeting was held today with the Haddhunmathi Atoll Council and the Maldives Heritage Society.

The meeting, held at the Atoll Council’s office in Fonadhoo, was conducted to discuss the ongoing Paree Fenganda Platform Project with the Council as one of the key stakeholders of the initiative. During the meeting, the Council was briefed on the reasons for the delay in commencing the project, mainly due to pending approvals from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). However, it was also highlighted that the Environmental Regulatory Authority has granted approval for the project design along with several recommendations to be incorporated into the implementation process.

As one of the key stakeholders of the project, the Council expressed its commitment to supporting and collaborating in the successful implementation of the initiative.
