Maldives Heritage Society is hiring an Environmental Consultant for the "Paree Fenganda Platform Project".
This project is a conservation and sustainable development initiative aimed at enhancing visitor engagement, community awareness, and habitat protection within the Gan Boda Fenganda Protected Area.
* Position: Environmental Consultant
* Duration: 8 months, with possibility of extension
* Objectives of the Assignment
The primary objective of this consultancy is to provide technical support and guidance for the effective and sustainable execution of project components within the protected area.

* Qualifications and Experience
• Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or related field.
• At least [6-10] years of experience working in protected areas, environmental conservation, and sustainable development projects.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting environmental assessments, construction monitoring, and habitat surveys.
• Proven ability to design and conduct training programs, particularly for community-based conservation and awareness initiatives.
• Familiarity with mangrove ecosystems and/or terrestrial ecology in tropical environments is preferred.
• Excellent report-writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
