Tree Planted on in Memory of Renowned Poet Aiminath Faiza and Her Husband
Two trees have been planted along the Heritage Trail in Laamu Gan in memory of the late Aiminath Faiza, one of the Maldives’ most celebrated poets, widely known by her pen name “Daisymaalu,” and her husband, the late Anwar Hilmy, a dedicated public servant who rendered long years of service to the country.
The Maldives Heritage Society expresses its sincere appreciation to Mohamed Hilmy for supporting the Heritage Trail initiative through this meaningful contribution.
