L. Isdhoo Council and Maldives Heritage Society Sign Cooperation Agreement

The L. Isdhoo Council and the Maldives Heritage Society have signed a Memorandum of Agreement to collaborate on heritage conservation, research, and cultural development initiatives in Isdhoo.
Under the agreement, both parties have agreed to work together to identify, protect, and promote heritage sites within the jurisdiction of Isdhoo. The partnership aims to ensure that these heritage assets are preserved and managed in ways that benefit the island and its residents, while also supporting the implementation of heritage-related plans and initiatives.
The agreement further includes cooperation in researching and documenting the island’s historical and cultural heritage, compiling and archiving relevant information, and undertaking activities to promote the Dhivehi language, national identity, and cultural awareness. Through this collaboration, both organizations seek to strengthen efforts to preserve and celebrate the unique heritage of Isdhoo for future generations.
