A special session on Maldivian culture and traditions was conducted at Laamu Atoll Education Centre to provide students with additional knowledge on the subject.

The session was organized to supplement the Grade 7 Social Studies curriculum, particularly the unit on Maldivian culture and customs. Students were introduced to various aspects of the Maldives’ cultural heritage, including traditional practices, customs, values, and the importance of preserving the nation’s cultural identity.

The interactive session aimed to deepen students’ understanding and appreciation of Maldivian culture while encouraging greater awareness of the traditions and heritage that form an important part of the country’s national identity.
